Susan Kennedy, Vice President of Human Resources
Susan Kennedy was born and raised in New Jersey where she graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She began her career in Social Work working in Los Angeles hospitals and nursing homes. After a career change to Human Resources, she went to UCLA to receive her certificate in Human Resources Management. From there Ms. Kennedy worked for a variety of health care providers including Hawthorne Medical Group, HealthCare Partners and Facey Medical Foundation. She stepped out of the health care arena for a number of years to work for a small research and development company in Santa Barbara, Miravant Medical Technologies. Ms. Kennedy joined Sansum Clinic as the Director of Human Resources in 2005 and was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources in 2007.
