The Sansum Clinic Oncology & Hematology Department (phone, fax, hours, directions) provides compassionate care for all adult patients with cancer and blood diseases.

Our physicians, nurses, medical assistants and staff work together to provide personal and individualized cancer care to all who enter our department. Many patients come from outside Santa Barbara county to receive the comprehensive cancer care provided by our board-certified oncology and hematology specialists. We provide a comfortable environment, individualized to patients' needs.
Oncology Expertise
Our chemotherapy-certified and oncology-certified nurses are highly skilled in the administration of chemotherapy and management of side effects. Our nurses alone have a combined experience level of more than 60 years in oncology and cancer treatment.

Onsite chemotherapy admixing provides efficiency in preparation and administration of chemotherapy treatments.

Cancer Treatment in Southern California
We are committed to providing Sansum Clinic patients with the best cancer treatment available in Southern California. We provide referrals to or coordination of care with outside facilities such as University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) or a different specialist when needed.
We are proud to be a part of the UCLA Network of oncology protocols, allowing our patients to receive the very latest cancer treatments available in Southern California from the comfort of their own community and doctor. Any oncology patient under the care of a Sansum Clinic oncology provider is eligible to participate if a UCLA Network protocol is appropriate for their condition.
Community Oncology Activities
We are active in our community and offer community-based prescreening for colon cancer, and we participate in the Cancer Center Run, the Cancer Walk, flu clinics, the soup kitchen and many other charitable organizations.
Our Oncology and Hematology specialists work in collaboration with our breast care navigator and caregivers in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Psychology, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Dermatology, Surgery and other departments to deliver the best care possible to our patients.
