Sansum Clinic provides flu shots through our community-wide Flu Shot Program conducted October to January each year, which results in better health and well-being for the residents of our Santa Barbara community. We have conducted these clinics for more than a decade, providing more than 100,000 people with flu shots throughout the county.

Flu Shots
In 2010, Sansum Clinic vaccinated 8,800 people who were served at 18 flu shot clinics offered at 9 different sites in Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, Goleta, Solvang and Lompoc. Of the 8,800 people approximately 4,300 of them were unable to pay the requested $20 donation and Sansum Clinic covered the cost.
Community Flu Shots and Vaccines
Funding for flu shots is needed now more than ever. Awareness of influenza was heightened with the H1N1 swine flu virus. In these economically challenging times, people cannot afford to get sick. Sansum Clinic is the only organization offering flu shots on such a wide scale and at no cost to those who do not have the financial means to pay.
Generous Flu Shot Partners
Special thanks to Montecito Bank & Trust's Community Dividend Program, ExxonMobil and the Rotary Club of Montecito for generously supporting the Flu Shot Program in 2010. You too can partner with Sansum Clinic and provide the ‘gift of good health' with your philanthropic support of the Flu Shot Program.
Giving the Gift of Good Health
Partner with Sansum Clinic to provide the 'gift of good health'. Your gift of support can provide a flu shot for a child or an adult unable to pay. Our goal is to vaccinate as many people as possible. If you are in a position to provide a gift for those without the financial means, please select the DONATE NOW button, download this mail in donation form, or call us at (805) 681-7726. Thank you.

For more information about this program, please contact Dru A. Hartley, Director of Philanthropy, at (805) 681-7726 or dhartley@sansumclinic.org.
